¡@ Information for Authors In the Asian Journal of Control, the Chinese Automatic Control Society publishes high-quality papers on the theory, design, and application of control systems. The journal is published bimonthly. Three types of contributions are regularly considered:
Submission of a manuscript signifies that it has been neither copyrighted, published, nor submitted or accepted for publication elsewhere. Submitted manuscripts must be typewritten in English. All submitted manuscripts should be as concise as possible. Average number of words per page if there were no figures/equations: 940 (470 + 470 approximately). Average number of equations lines per page (if it was just equations): 48 (24 + 24 approximately). The Editor reserves the right to refuse to consider such papers. Process for Submission of Manuscript
These will be subject to a review procedure, and a decision on whether or not to accept the paper will be made by members of the Editorial Board. ¡@ Copyright It is the policy of the Chinese Automatic Control Society to own the copyright to the technical contributions it published. To comply with Chinese Automatic Control Society copyright policy, authors are required to sign a Copyright Transfer From and send it to an Editor-in-Chief after they received the acknowledgement letter. Paper acceptance is not possible without the form signed. Style for Manuscript
Style for Illustrations Illustrations should be kept to a minimum. Figures and photos should be original proofs and not Xeroxes. Photos must be glossy prints with no screens. Laser prints are not acceptable in place of photos or where gray-scale graphics are involved. All line drawings and photos should be in black and white unless specifically requested. Letters should be large enough to be readily legible when the drawing is reduced to a one0column width as much as 4:1reduction from the original. Materials should be no larger than 22¡Ñ28 cm (8 1/2¡Ñ11¡¨). Do not incorporate electronic graphics into the paper. List captions on a separate sheet of paper, not on the illustrations. Mandatory Overlength Page Charges A mandatory page charge is imposed on all regular papers exceeding ten printed journal pages (about 32 double-space, typed pages) and brief papers exceeding 4 printed journal pages (about 14 double-space, typed pages) in length, including illustrations. The charge is US$100 per page for each page and is a prerequisite for publication. Details are provided at the time of acceptance; authors are, however, urged to keep this in mind when submitting and revising their papers. Page Charges After a manuscript has been accepted for publication, the corresponding author will receive 50 free reprints. Detailed instructions will accompany the proofs. ¡@Please visit our website: http://www.ajc.org.tw |
